[Текст доступен только на английском языке] My name is Michał Przyszlak, and as VJ mentalny jeż I create visual settings for concerts, animations, projection mappings, and projects at the intersection of digital art, music, and multimedia. I work with real-time image, combining 2D and 3D animation, live compositing, graphic design, and generative elements. The relationship between image and music is central to my work. I am interested in how image can strengthen rhythm, build tension, transform the atmosphere of the stage, and influence the way the entire event is experienced. For me, image is never an addition to a concert, but an inseparable part of it — something that helps shape the energy of the performance.
I graduated from the Faculty of Art at the University of Opole, where I currently also teach classes in multimedia and audiovisual practices. I combine my artistic work with design and teaching experience, continuously developing my own visual language based on combining animation with live performance and real-time experimentation.
I have collaborated with artists from the Polish music scene, including Quebonafide, Mata, Kaliber 44, Kękę, Lao Che, Bass Astral, and Kabe, preparing visual settings for concerts, full tours, and individual festival events. My works have been presented in Poland and abroad — including Germany,
the Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Slovakia, and the USA.
I approach each project individually — as a separate space for working with and searching for connections between image, sound, and light. I look for solutions that respond to the character of the event, while remaining part of my own way
of thinking through image and my original artistic expression.
