[Текст доступен только на английском языке] RITUAL ERROR is an VJ/DJ project by the newly founded audiovisual collective based in Zurich, Switzerland, formed in summer 2026 by VJ and multimedia artist inxile/Lili Inexile together with multimedia artists and DJs Brvna and Megagiga. They’re working across live visual performance, spatial projection, electronic music, DJing and multimedia/sound art. MYKORRHIZZA is not only the name of the collective but also a working method: a decentralized practice of listening, responding and creating together in real time.
Inspired by mycorrhizal networks, the underground fungal networks that enable communication and resource exchange between plants, MYKORRHIZZA approach their work as a process of non-hierarchical collaboration, where sound, image and space continuously influence one another.
For LPM 2026, we propose RITUAL ERROR, a 30-minute audiovisual showcase in which two members perform an improvised back-to-back DJ set while the third creates a real-time projection mapping performance. Like a mycelial network, the audiovisual system evolves through subtle interactions, feedback loops and unexpected connections. Musical gestures trigger visual responses, while visual transformations reshape the perception of rhythm, space and texture, allowing the performance to unfold organically in the moment.
The sonic landscape of the DJ-Set draws from field recordings and tracks by FLINTA* producers, foregrounding voices that continue to reshape contemporary electronic music while expanding its sonic narratives. The visual material combines self-shot footage, digital textures and real-time video processing, continuously adapting to the changing soundscape and the surrounding architecture. This project also marks our first collaboration. While each of us develops independent artistic practices and regularly collaborates with other artists and collectives, this project brings our individual approaches into dialogue for the first time. Rather than illustrating a fixed narrative, MYKORRHIZZA creates the conditions for one to emerge through improvisation, responsiveness and shared perception.
