The infographic traces a long-term artistic research process that began within the experimental environment of live visual performance at techno parties. VJing became a field for exploring the relationship between sound and image, improvisation, repetition, real-time composition, technology and perception, gradually forming the basis of a broader artistic research methodology.
Developed through years of practice, observation and theoretical reflection, this research was eventually consolidated in the doctoral dissertation VJing as Method. The infographic maps the key contexts, questions and artistic processes that shaped this trajectory.
Selected elements can be accessed through a mobile device, opening additional layers of the research through links, moving-image fragments and visual documentation. In this way, the infographic functions both as a map of the research process and as an entry point into the materials and experiences that have contributed to its development.
