[Text available only in English] My performance of various compositions for solo clarinet is matched by the simultaneous projection of my visual interpretations of the pieces being played.
Cavalcade is just one of four short videos that would make up a programme lasting 15 to 20 minutes. Suggested programme is Cosmos, Joshua Tree, Metamorphosis, Cavalcade.
Cavalcade is based on manipulations made in Processing code aimed at generating maximum episodic contrasts. These are then matched against Andalusian Cadence from '24 clarinet etudes from the world' by Gregory M Barrett.
In Cavalcade, radically different two dimensional patterns are generated through mathematical adjustment to the number of shapes (always circles) set in motion and the randomization of their colour, speed and size.

What is needed
A front or rear projection screen is required with a DVD projector providing either front or rear projection of moving images. The sound is provided live by Terry Trickett. DVDs in the required format will be supplied by Terry Trickett
