[Текст доступен только на английском языке] AEON is an interactive sound installation.
It explores the theory of the universe as an infinite succession of cosmic cycles, with no true beginning and no true end.
AEON is a thirty-minute sound cycle that repeats continuously. What we perceive as a ‘beginning’ is in fact the transformation of the end of the previous cycle. Each return is not a simple repetition, but a new generation of the same sound material, in constant transformation.
At the centre of the room, a dodecahedron serves as the point of interaction between the visitor and the soundscape. The movement of the hand in three-dimensional space is detected by Aeon and translated into a sonic gesture.
The visitor does not generate the music, but curves its trajectory, continually modifying and distorting the perception of its distribution in space.
The listener is therefore an active presence within the system, an element able to alter the sound space, a body that curves space-time.
The sound material originates from ‘Variazioni d’Ambiente’, a work based on the continuous transformation of soundscapes.
From a slowly evolving harmonic sea, rhythms, structures and melodic figures emerge, organising themselves and eventually dissolving into the soundscape.
Each cycle thus generates new forms, only to reabsorb them, recomposing the material into a new equilibrium.

--> The installation requires the possibility to mount six speakers on the wall (or using supports) and to suspend the central speaker and the interactive dodecahedron from the ceiling.
The installation requires a confined, dark space (essential) to be enjoyed to the full. <--
