“Senza Nome” by Simona Cafagna it’s the frontier behind which the inhabitants of the Fortress Europe live, fat and debate about who has the right to share wellness with them.Virtual discussions, like the concept they dispute about: that of “refugee”, a crazy onanism of the power who decide who is good and who is evil, who has the right to overtake the wall and who not. Trying to jump could cost your life, but when you get closer you find the border light and breakable, made of poliestere. And so, while walls fall down and tweets disappear, hundreds of people are marching, heading to the crystal palace. (10180000 km2 are less than 7% of emerged land).
The installation consists of two works, the painting by Simona Cafagna “Senza Nome” (acrylic, mixed media on wood, 2015) and the video installation by Matteo Montanari “ live streaming of tweets containing the word refugee “(installation, 2016 )
