[Текст доступен только на английском языке] Trained in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts, in the Painting section, Marcello Fraioli has worked across different forms of visual art, performance and multimedia, alongside his long-standing career in music.
“Having achieved fame as the frontman of the most famous esoteric/industrial music band in our country, Ain Soph, Spectre (aka Marcello Fraioli) is no stranger to solo experiments, sometimes even more celebrated than his combo activity, which often take him on stages outside Italy. It is in fact in his one-man-band career that Fraioli, hidden behind the dark glasses of a melancholic Roman rocker, fully expresses his "multifaceted genius", which over the years has also been expressed through a long series of art-rock performances and audio-video installations. Spectre has released two CDs ('Mantra Volutatis' and '10 pezzi facili') which highlight his love for electric rock, trance, apocalyptic folk, minimal music and lounge-sound. Ever closer to experimental and minimalist sounds, Marcello Fraioli's sound project - however - willingly leaves room for his passion for covers, with which he is usually to pay homage to Italian and non-Italian artists"
