[Text available only in English] Livecoding is the use of ‘on-the-fly’ coding techniques to create, in this instance, music and/or visuals. Orca is a grid-based graphical livecoding environment. It works by animating single character functions that trigger MIDI and OSC protocols to control sound and visuals software and/or hardware. It’s part animation program, part complex logic counter, puzzle game, perhaps. It is very simple to get started.

2. Something that makes sound (either the laptop/iPad/Pi or a hardware midi synth
or drum machine)

The workshop will run each day for Thursday, Friday and Saturday for two hours. The threeflylords will be taking in pairs each day...

It all culminates in a Student Showcase, an Algorave where participants team up to perform for the first time for each other and friends, all with instructor support.
