Their work and passion met in 2009 when Ghazi made a Vjing performance for a concert of dub music in Tunis with the band Dub mel Kabba. On that occasion, Ghazi used Marion's image while moving as a base for his performance. This was the beginning of a common experience combining movement and video. They developed this practice especially through Ghazi's teamwork with the musician Hayej. (November 2010, they were invited to perform in the first part of the the French band High Tone during the « Echo Sonore » festival in Tunis )

In December 2010, Ghazi and Marion were invited to participate to a collective installation organized by the Atelier D (a tunisian artists collective) in Tunis on the theme of Don Quichotte's Delirium. After a month of residency in the Dar BenAbdellah theater, experimenting movement and live-video effects; “Fi hokka” (In a Box) was born thus marking the turning point of their work from live video performance to live interactive video-dance-and-shadow performance. “Fi hokka” is an allegory taking the watcher into the meanders of a tormented mind. This piece was then played another time in march 2012 during the Contemporary Dance Festival of the Mad'art in Carthage, Tunis.

Ghazi and Marion were then selected to participate to the festival Dream City that took place from 26th to 30th September 2012 in Tunis. They were asked to create a new project for the occasion, which they did. And this is how “I'm nobody's shadow” was born.
