[Text available only in English] I got in 2003 my Degree in Visual Arts from the Uruguay’s National School of Fine Arts.
Complementing my studies with severals seminars and workshops I have developed my research in the areas of design, illustration, photography, audiovisual and - in last years - I was researching in the field of video and performance mixing too. As a video artist I have been selected and recognized in different film and video festivals with my Self-portrait and Untitled artwork projects. As an Illustrator I have worked in portrait combining mixed medias and formats - from mural painting to live presentations and videoclips.
In 2015 my Self-Portrait’s live performance version was premiered live at Kaleidosoup 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Last year in Uruguay I presented this same live performance version at Kavlin Cultural Center in Punta del Este, and at the Montevideo’s Goethe-Institut too.
My Untitled-5 videoart was awarded as Uruguay’s Best videoart in the XVIII Uruguay Film Festival. This videoart was part of the Uruguay’s International Videodance Festival FIVU 2005 selection, and the Paraguay’s International Video Show Eku'e 2009 selection too.
Since 2016 I was designing on-stage video projections for theatre plays and music shows: Mecánica by Abel González Melo, directed by Mariana Wainstein at Montevideo’s Circular Theatre; Menú Raíz music show by Samantha Navarro & Juanita Fernández at Montevideo’s Solís Theatre; La Tortuga de Darwin by Juan Mayorga, directed by Mariana Wainstein at Montevideo’s Alianza Theatre; Bello país para vivir después de muerto by Marcel García at Montevideo’s Circular Theatre; and Laura Canoura’s music shows at Montevideo’s Solís Theatre and at the National Auditorium Sodre.
At the same time, since 2016 I have been part of MöR art collective, where performance, videoart and live music are mixed in a AV Performance show. This show piece called EngendrA (Engenders) was presented in Centro Cultural Kavlin (Punta del Este) and in 2nd Expanded Cinema Festival (Montevideo), Uruguay.
